    ​Asharqia Chamber finishes receiving applications for participation in the "My Craft​​" Exhibition 2023​


    Asharqia Chamber has finished receiving requests for the participation of productive families and owners of crafts and handicrafts in the sixth edition of its annual exhibition “My Craft 2023 AD”, and it is now conducting the stage of sorting the posts and ensuring that they comply with the specific criteria and conditions for acceptance, which is followed by another stage by involving those who have been selected in a series of Developmental training programs before the start of the exhibition to enhance their marketing capabilities.

    The exhibition comes under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, The Prince of the Eastern Province, during the period from 23 to 27 May this year, at the headquarters of the Dhahran Expo Company in Dammam.

    Al-Ruzaiza explained that the exhibition comes in line with the vision and its objectives to develop and transform the productive families sector, crafts, and handicrafts into a more organized sector to be an added value to the national economy, pointing out that the exhibition in its sixth edition comes within the Chamber's plan aimed at continuing its efforts by making the pioneers of this sector an active number within the economies of the Kingdom in general and the eastern region in particular,

    Al-Ruzaiza said that the exhibition of the year in its new version aims to organize the work of productive families and owners of crafts and handicrafts by developing their capabilities and providing them with the professional, administrative, and creative skills necessary to raise the quality of their products and then allowing them to display and sell their products within the various pavilions of the exhibition and according to organized marketing channels that guarantee participants sustainable income and motivate them to lead businesses.

    Regarding the privileges granted to productive families and owners of crafts, arts, and handicrafts participating in the exhibition, Al-Ruzaiza said: (There are many advantages, on top of which is the participants’ access to free training courses before the exhibition is held, in addition to their inclusion in the marketing guide that the Chamber will issue in conjunction with the exhibition). He pointed out that the exhibition of the year is attended by many supportive and incubating bodies for productive families and owners of crafts and handicrafts, namely: the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Social Development Bank, the Eastern Region Council for Social Responsibility, the Heritage Authority in the Eastern Region, the Culture and Arts Association in the Eastern Region and its employees, and many other associations and centers.
